Over the past six years, Angelique has focused on her professional development and expanded her expertise in asset-based community development, participatory planning, collaborative initiatives, and stakeholder engagement. She has worked across various population groups, including community safety, child and family services, youth, homelessness, aged care, disability, access and inclusion, and multicultural communities.
Recently, Angelique transitioned from community development to social planning, where she develops strategies and policies for local government on critical issues such as homelessness, child safety, and disability access and inclusion. Her work aims to address social sustainability challenges and enhance community well-being.
In the past two years, she has contributed to two capital city councils – the City of Sydney and the City of Adelaide – where she has refined her skills in social policy and research, community engagement and consultation, data and demographic analysis, and project evaluation.
