The Department of Planning, Housing and Infrastructure has recently gazetted an amendment to the Housing SEPP creating a new Chapter 5 (Transport oriented development), to begin implementing the widely anticipated Transit Oriented Development (TOD) program.

Mecone is proud to have assisted our client in securing approval for a complete redesign and change of use from 17 townhouses to a three storey NDIS (community housing) building within four months of lodgement.

Mecone, in partnership with McGregor Coxall and Projectura, is excited to share progress on the review of the Thurgoona Wirlinga Precinct Structure Plan. This crucial plan, guiding the precinct’s future growth, is under revision to reflect the evolving community aspirations and planning policies.
Mecone are proud to have assisted our client with receiving approval of a Development Application for a four storey mixed use development comprising retail premises, commercial premises, a cafe, a restaurant, provision of 183 at grade parking spaces and one basement level, and associated civil and landscaping works on the corner of Olive Hill Drive and Brunson Road, Cobbitty in Sydney’s south west.
