About the project

Mecone helped Top Spring Australia obtain planning approval for a $400 million residential development next to St Leonards Station. The development includes 330 apartments and townhouses in five buildings, along with a 2,500sq m communal garden and swimming pool. The project faced several challenges due to the steep slope of the site, the idiosyncratic, precinct-specific controls and extensive consultation and review with the Council’s Design Excellence Panel and planning officers. The project was designed by Bates Smart.
