The assessment aimed to identify the anticipated social infrastructure needs of the future population and outline how these needs could be addressed as part of the Planning Proposal.
The assessment encompassed a comprehensive evaluation, including:
- An analysis of the strategic social infrastructure context;
- A review of the Planning Proposal and insights from previous consultation outcomes;
- A detailed demographic analysis of the current and projected population within the Brookvale Precinct;
- A methodological peer review of Council’s Social Infrastructure Study;
- An assessment of the existing infrastructure supply and the quantitative and qualitative needs generated by the Planning Proposal; and
- A discussion of delivery and operational considerations, including funding and governance models.
This thorough approach ensured the Planning Proposal was informed by evidence-based recommendations tailored to the social infrastructure needs of the evolving community.
