About the Project

The Project will result in a new 11 storey office development with ground floor retail uses at 326-328 Botany Road, Alexandria. The site is located in the Green Square Urban Renewal area in the South of Sydney and is approximately 50 metres away from the Green Square Train Station. The development will contribute to the provision of additional employment generating land uses within the locality and the growth of new office space located outside of the Sydney CBD within the Sydney Local Government Area.

To date, Mecone have provided a number of urban planning services in relation to the subject site including:

  • Prepare an Initial Planning Due Diligence Report
  • Provision of Strategic and Development Advice Report including investigation of opportunities for rezoning the land
  • Undertake a Design Options Compliance Assessment
  • Coordinate and undertake a Pre-DA meeting with Council
  • Concept DA Preparation including coordination of subconsultants and authoring of Statement of Environmental Effects
  • Management of the application including undertaking VPA negotiations
  • Successfully negotiate a development approval from the Central Sydney Planning Committee
  • Manage a design competition in accordance with Sydney Council Policy
