About the Project

The aquatic centre features a striking architectural design prepared by Grimshaw in association with Andrew Burges Architects which was the winning design of an architectural design competition held by the City of Parramatta in 2018. The facility will be located within the Mays Hill Precinct and Parramatta Park. Mecone provided a number of urban planning services, including:

  • Working alongside the project team and undertaking a preliminary planning review;
  • Preparation of the Statement of Environmental Effects to support the Development Application; and
  • Providing ongoing advice and responses to information requests following lodgement.
