The Local Movement Strategy sets out the 20-year vision for the LGA and will form a key component of the evidence base that will inform LEP and DCP updates as well as Council’s Local Strategic Planning Statement (LSPS). Specifically, Mecone assisted with:

• Engaging with a broad range of Council’s consultant team to work towards a consolidated LSPS
• Developing transport related goals and objectives
• Identifying priority actions for Council to focus on
• Assessing projected population and employment growth within the LGA and comparing this growth against strategic planning priorities
• Assessing the impact of Sydney Metro West on population growth, employment growth, movement, and land use change
• Preparing mapping and graphics to inform the movement strategy and wider LSPS
