About the project

The project combined demographic analysis, benchmarking and spatial accessibility modelling to assess current and future demand across libraries, community centres, arts and cultural spaces, and recreation facilities.

Engagement with council teams and service providers informed recommendations for co-location and shared management models, maximising the use of existing assets and reducing duplication. The project demonstrates Mecone’s experience in cross-boundary community infrastructure planning in a high-growth context.
