We are looking for a talented Associate Director to join our growing Statutory Planning team in either our Sydney CBD or Parramatta office.
Mecone are committed to creating better urban environments and valuing our people. You’ll be supported by industry-leading Directors and work on transformational projects that make a real impact.
You’ lead planning projects, provide expert statutory and strategic advise, manage client relationships, and mentor junior staff. You’ll be a key contributor to delivering high-quality planning outcomes across metro and regional NSW.

Responsibilities
- Deliver expert advise on statutory and strategic planning matters
- Lead project teams and manage client relationships
- Prepare high-quality planning reports and submissions
- Drive business development and contribute to marketing efforts
- Mentor junior staff and manage project budgets
Skills
- 7-10 years' experience in urban planning
- Strong knowledge of NSW planning systems
- Excellent communication and decision-making skills
- Proven ability to manage projects and teams
- Degree qualified in planning or related discipline
- Australian citizen or valid work visa
