Meet Mecone’s New Student Planner

We are delighted to introduce Jack Vella, Yeng Songalia and Lucas Cross.

Jack joins our Western Sydney Planning team based in our Parramatta office and will support the team in preparing planning advice and reports across a range of projects. He has a strong interest in geospatial data and how it can support the development assessment process and is passionate about creating places where people can live, work and recreate comfortably,

Yeng joins our Policy and Analytics team in Sydney and is passionate about creating thriving, resilient communities through engagement, research, and collaborative design. As President of the MQU Geography and Planning Society, Yeng leads initiatives that strengthen student networks and help build connections between academia and industry.

Lucas joins our Sydney Planning team in our Sydney office and is eager to contribute to meaningful project work and collaboration and is looking forward to getting involved in statutory planning projects across the team.

We look forward to supporting Jack, Yeng and Lucas as they build their careers, and we’re excited for the contribution they’ll make across Mecone.
