Following Council’s Notice of Decision and an objector appeal, the matter proceeded to VCAT. Through collaboration with Jarryd Gray, a negotiated outcome was reached at the compulsory conference, resulting in the much-anticipated approval.

Located opposite the iconic Queen Victoria Market and within a Heritage Overlay, the project showcases how an older building on the city’s edge can be re-purposed and upgraded to deliver a contemporary use that complements its context.

This development will not only enhance the streetscape and pedestrian experience but also provide a use that supports the tertiary and health precinct nearby.
