Mecone is proud to have assisted CPDM with obtaining development consent for a landmark development in the Castle Hill North precinct within The Hills Shire Local Government Area. The redevelopment of the site includes the demolition of 14 existing dwellings and the construction of 3 x five storey residential flat buildings and 6 x 3 storey townhouses comprising 118 new dwellings over basement car parking.

The development provides additional housing in proximity to services and facilities in the area, particularly Castle Towers Shopping Centre, Castle Hill Town Centre as it is conveniently located within 600m of Castle Hill Metro Station. The development has been designed by architects PTW to blend with the established suburban character of Castle Hill whilst considering the transitioning high-density nature of the area surrounding the Sydney Metro Northwest.

Our dedicated Western Sydney team assisted the project team by providing preliminary planning advice, prelodgement coordination with Council, preparation of a Statement of Environmental Effects for the Development Application supported by a without-prejudice Clause 4.6 Variation Request for a variation in relation to the maximum number of storeys fronting Carramarr Road, and on-going project management and liaison with Council and the project team to obtain approval.
