404 Church Street, Parramatta

Mecone is proud to have provided urban planning services and assisted with the development application for the relocated Royal Oak Hotel in Parramatta. In May 2022, The Royal Oak Parramatta finally reopened for business, after being demolished to accommodate Stage 1 of the Parramatta Light Rail, which is expected to open in 2023.

Originally established in 1813, the hotel was moved across the road into a new mixed use development located at 404 Church Street, Parramatta. The building features five storeys and 40 serviced apartments, and was designed by Huppauf Chesterman Architects.
