The site is a 992sqm block in Carina Heights with a 20m frontage to Osterley Road. The site is within 400m of the future Carina bus station and within a kilometre of Westfield Carindale.

Mecone lodged a Development Application in September 2018 for the establishment of a 3 storey Multiple dwelling comprised of nine (9) dwellings, with a mix of two (2) and three (3)-bedroom apartments.
The application was approved in May 2019 and finalised in August 2019 following the approval of a Minor change application.

Scope of Works

Mecone have provided a number of urban planning services including:

  • Planning advice to guide built form outcomes, with regard to height, site cover, landscaping,and outdoor living;
  • Preparation of Planning Report and coordination of consultant input;
  • Negotiation with Brisbane City Council on several performance outcomes and coordination of response to Request for Information & Further Issues letters;
  • Preparation of Minor Change application to address Building Code requirements;
  • Review of approval packages to ensure conditions are reasonable and relevant.
